Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using the Remora application or the remora.embedra.net site, you accept these Terms. If you don't accept, don't use the service.
2. Description of service
Remora is software that provides a P2P (end-to-end encrypted) remote desktop connection between two machines. Our signaling server only relays SDP/ICE messages for the initial handshake; video and input data never touch our servers.
3. Acceptable use
The following are prohibited:
- Connecting to someone else's computer without their explicit consent (every connection requires the remote party's active acceptance).
- Sharing, distributing, or storing illegal content.
- Circumventing rate limits, using signaling maliciously (e.g. botnet coordination), or publishing reverse-engineering results of the service.
- Transmitting copyrighted content without permission.
- Using the service to transmit child-abuse material, terror propaganda, or content inciting violence.
4. Account security
If you register, you are responsible for protecting your credentials. Report suspicious logins to us. We recommend enabling 2FA.
5. Free and paid tiers
The free tier allows 2 hours of connection per day and 1 host device. If you need more, you can upgrade to Pro (recurring monthly subscription) or buy the one-time Founding plan.
- Seller of record. Paid plans are sold through a Merchant of Record (MoR) partner — an online reseller that acts as the seller of record for the transaction, provides customer service for billing inquiries, and handles returns. The partner is named at checkout and on your receipt, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase in addition to these Terms.
- Auto-renewal. The Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The price shown at checkout applies; we will give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect on your plan.
- Cancellation. You may cancel any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free tier.
- Refunds & right of withdrawal. Paid plans are digital services supplied immediately. Refunds are handled by the Merchant of Record under its refund policy: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on a one-off purchase and on the first payment of a subscription, which does not apply once you start using the paid features after consenting at checkout; subsequent renewals are non-refundable. 6. Service availability
We are in beta — our signaling server may have planned maintenance or unexpected outages. Status is available at status.embedra.net. We are not liable for indirect damages from outages.
7. Limitation of liability
Remora is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to amounts paid by you to us in the last 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend your account without notice if you violate these Terms. You may cancel anytime; paid subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing period.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The competent courts are those of Istanbul (Çağlayan).
